Connected Car Innovation (CCI) 2020: Comparison of innovations of global car manufacturers

What are the key innovation trends and which car manufacturers are ahead in the race for the connected vehicle? For a comprehensive analysis of connected car trends, innovations and mobility services of 30 global automotive manufacturers in the technology fields of security, information and communication systems as well as operating and display concepts were evaluated.

It shows that the core competencies of the connected future are only mastered by a few manufacturers. The gap between high and low performers increases. The Connected Car Index 2020 (CCI) has been compiled exclusively in collaboration with the magazine carIT for six years. The focus is on comparing the innovation and performance of global car manufacturers, digital players and the most important automotive nations in the future fields of the connected vehicle. The results of the latest study will be shown in this presentation.
