Peter Laxy
Operations Director Enterprise Global Germany, Cisco

With two decades of experience at Cisco, Peter Laxy is a driving force behind the digital evolution of Cisco´s largest global customers. 

Since July 2025, he has served as Operations Director for Energy & Utilities customers as well for Industry clients in the "Enterprise Global" operation in Germany. Since August 2026, he has additionally taken over the Automotive teams as Head of Automotive. In this role, he leads sales teams specialized in Full-Stack Observability, with a strategic focus on AI, IT infrastructure, and cybersecurity. 

As a member of the Management Team of Cisco Germany, Peter plays a pivotal role in shaping the company’s strategic direction.

Peter Laxy´ s journey at Cisco began in 2007 as a Regional Sales Manager for the Enterprise Market. Over the years, he has been instrumental in expanding Cisco’s footprint in the German market—from his early contributions to the utility sector to taking the Channel leadership for Germany`s largest Cisco partner in 2014 and leading a Solution sales team in 2018. Between July 2024 and 2025, he served as the Operation Director for "Enterprise Germany", where he successfully directed the sales and growth strategy for this vital customer segment.

Peter Laxy holds a master’s degree in Economical Engineering (Dipl. Wirt. -Ing.) from the University of Paderborn.

Outside of his professional life, he values balance and quality time, living in Cologne with his wife and two children. When he isn't guiding global digitalization initiatives, you can find him jogging, reading books, or simply enjoying time with his family.
